This is a Sword of a Thousand Truths guide based off the World of Warcraft Southpark Episode. If you are looking for ways to make gold please see Valkors Gold Guide. If you are looking for a World of Warcraft leveling guide from 1-70 please see either Horde 1-70 Guide or Alliance 1-70 Guide. Other profession and class guides can be found at Killer Guides.
The Sword of a Thousand Truths guide is not for newbs. Anyone about to attempt this fate must have no life. You will need to quit your job if you have one, /gkick your kids if you have those, and divorce your wife. Also, ensure you do not eat, sleep, take showers, or go to the bathroom for more than 10 minutes a day. If you accept the above conditions then please continue reading this guide offered exclusively at the-best-wow-guides.com.
If you are alliance you are fooked. The only person to do this on any server was a horde character, there is a similar quest for the alliance… maybe.
The quest begins with what is known as an invisible quest. You virtually flag your character to be able to loot The Sword of a Thousand Truths at a later date in the game. Each step must be followed exactly or your character will have his/her flags out of order and the quest will not work.
From beginning to start.
Take your level 60 character to Ironforge with exactly 100 gold in his inventory (you must maintain exactly 100 gold throughout this entire quest line). You must make it in far enough to attack King Magni Bronzebeard, you must hit him, make sure you do or the quest flag will not be received. Once you die, ressurect at the Graveyard. You now have 3 hours to talk to all of the following NPCs in order.
First head to Winterspring. Do this without using flight paths because you will then have less than 100 gold. I recommend having a mage/warlock friend port you to make this easier (remember you only have 3 hours). You must right click Donovan at the springs, but only once until he acknowledges your presence. From there you must head to Blackrock Mountain and meet up with Franclorn Forgewright, if you do not know how to speak to this NPC it's because you're a newb. After you have made him acknowledge your presence by right clicking you must quicly ressurect and head to Desolace/Feralas and speak with Rexxar. After talking with Rexxar you must go to Tanaris, from Tanaris you must run west and jump off the cliff into Ungaro Crater. Once in ghost form at the graveyard run to the cave where Ringo is. You need only to enter the entrance of the cave to receive the flag for the next part. Quickly run back to the Ungaro Graveyard and ressurect.
Now here comes the hard part. You must gather a raid force and head back to Ironforge. Again, you must not repair or you will no longer have exactly 100g and you will have to start over. Remind everyone in your raid not to loot mobs that they kill or you will gain copper or silver! If you did the previous steps correctly including attacking the King you must now kill the King. Once he is dead he will exclusively drop The Sword of a Thousand truths for all characters in the raid with the flag. There is no limit to how many character can receive The Sword of a Thousand Truths but others who do not have the flag will not be able to loot the sword. Loot your sword, take lots of screenshots, and then send them to us so we have more proof that this quest works for all those non-believers out there. Please check out our The Sword of 1000 Truths Photos.
The Sword of a Thousand Truths first appeared in a Southpark episode. Southpark and Blizzard got together to make a Southpark episode that involved the Sword of a Thousand truths. The Sword of a Thousand Truths from Southpark is not real, but the graphic and effect are used in the game. I look forward to Southpark releasing more episodes in the future of this nature. For those that do not know, Southpark has been one of the most successful running TV series for 11 years now. Southpark is also Comedy Central's #1 TV show.
